We are pleased to announce the launch of the Canadian Academics for a Just Foreign Policy website on Wednesday, October 9th, from 6:30pm to 8pm on Zoom!

For the launch event, we have an amazing panel of speakers who will discuss their experiences with institutional suppression of free speech, academic freedom, and dissent. These experiences deal with the Palestinian genocide, the NATO proxy war in Ukraine, and Western provocations against Iran, China, Venezuela, and other countries.

There will be a question and answer period after the panel presentations, and an opportunity to being the conversation of how academics and students can support each other and move the cause of free speech and academic freedom forward at their respective institutions.

We hope to see many participants in the launch panel, and encourage everyone to sign the open letter. Together we can end the chill on our campuses and begin to advocate strongly for a principled Canadian foreign policy based on peace, cooperation, and international law.
